The ants don't eat the wood. First there's mold and other fungi that rots the wood, and then there's beetle larvae and such that feed on that, and after that comes the ants to feed on those bugs and nest in the tunnels the larvae dug. It's always about an ecosystem, not the top of the food chain.

You’d need much bigger battery to make that usefull. Jetski is most likely one of the most difficult vehicles to electrify, because of high power demand. A car may have 500kw power but it needs only 15kw to drive 100km/h. Jetski can have 300hp and still be driven wide open all the time. It’ll of course empty the tank in 20 minutes with such driving. For decent budget electrification, one should find suitable hybrid vehicle motor from junkyard and try to get controller on it. I have seen new 400 Ah lfp calls in a price of 80$/kwh. That would halve your battery costs. Personally, I’d stay away from planing boats or jetski’s unless I’d plan to use hydrofoil as Swedish Candela

Definitely shoulda have went with something like a SPIM08HP... The cells are 8ah each, and you can pull 100C out of them (800a). And they're less than 10 bucks a piece. Pretty nuts.

when talking about weight, don't forget the subtract the weight of the fuel tank full with gasoline and the oil tank full

Just use a small power inverter to make 140 to 150 volts! Then use a small 12 V battery and use an inverter to convert it to 150 V and hook that to the motor!

Couldn’t you just used to 12 V batteries hooked to two 120 V inverters 1500 watt each. Then connect them in series to make 240 volt 3,000 watt of power! Only using 2 12 V batteries!

You can use one 12 V battery and one power inverter to get 120 V!! The power inverter is white and Ken be $150 at Harbor freight for 1500 Watt! Then you could just wire up the motor to 120 V cord and plug it in!!

You can use a polyester filler with catylist to fix the imperfections and a poly-fill primer. to make it good as new.

Hate to say it but price vs outcome is why I will keep rocking that ol 2 stroke motor. Just not cost effective for way to many people

People often dont understand or underestimate the power needed to turn a propeller or and impeller in water. Good first go at it though. I wonder if it would be cheaper to get an electric motorcycle and rob the parts to do this conversion
